Frequently asked questions

Is Innoviris only for tech companies?

No. Innoviris supports innovation broadly: technological, social, and methodological. A services SME can apply if its project brings genuine innovation to its sector.

How long does an Innoviris application take?

Proof of Concept typically takes 6–10 weeks to evaluate. Proof of Business is often faster, around 4–8 weeks. Specific calls for projects have their own timelines.

Can I combine Innoviris grants with other subsidies?

Yes, within the maximum allowed aid intensity. You can combine Innoviris with federal or EU grants, provided you declare all public funding.

My company is bilingual FR/NL in Brussels, does that matter?

No negative impact. Brussels is officially bilingual and Innoviris and hub.brussels programmes accept applications in French or Dutch.

What is finance&invest.brussels?

It’s the regional financing body. It offers subordinated loans, guarantees, and equity stakes for Brussels SMEs, often at more favourable terms than banks.
