Wallonia has consolidated its energy renovation support into a single framework called RENOLUTION. This replaces the previous fragmented system with one streamlined portal for grants and zero-interest loans covering insulation, heating, renewable energy, and more.

The system is designed to be progressive: households with lower incomes receive higher grant amounts, ensuring that energy renovation is accessible regardless of financial situation. Four revenue categories (R1 to R4) determine the level of support.

Heat pump installations receive between €1,000 and €6,000 depending on technology type and income category. Insulation grants range from €6 to €50 per square metre depending on the element (roof, wall, floor) and performance achieved.
